January 2006 Meet
The January 7th, 2006 quiz will take place at Trinity Baptist in Renton.
The menu will be (Proceeds from lunch will go towards hopefully sending a Trinity team to WBQ nationals this summer.)
- Hot Dogs with Chilli & Cheese ($2)
- Baked Potato with Chilli & Cheese ($2)
- Chips ($0.50)
- Side Salad ($1)
- Just the Chilli ($1)
- Pop/Water ($0.50)
- Chocolate Chip Cookies (2 for $0.50)
Directions to Trinity Baptist: Take Highway 167 (called Valley Fwy on the map) to the S 180th Street exit. Go east on S. 180th Street. Go up the hill until you get to 116th Ave. Turn right. Proceed a couple of blocks until you see the church on the left (big front lawn..can’t miss it). After After you turn into the church parking lot, go around to the back parking lot. Check in will be in the foyer of the main Sanctuary (upper) building.

Sorry to be so late with the specifics.
Yes, we’ll do pizza and salad again:

Salad Plate: Caesar Chicken or Southwestern Chicken $3.50
Side Salad $1
50 cent items: Canned pop, bottled water, carrots, fruit, cookies
Latte cart will be open 8 to 9 a.m.
The “Cafe” will not be operating this year.

It looks like Paul and David were battling it out for first in the experts and were separated by a single error. Teams went as such (1,2,3): Expert: Trinity Amethyst, Lynnwood, and Enumclaw Intermediate: Trinity Black, Puyallup, and Trinity Green Novice: Trinity Fire, Longview, and Marysville.

(Registration Starts at 5:30pm - $5 per quizzer plus meal cost ($5 for Sat. lunch) the event starts at 6:00pm Friday)
Please include the following information - ASAP if not done already!!
1) Church Name
2) Coaches Name, Phone Number, and Email
3) Team Name(s), Level Desired (expert, intermediate, novice) 2nd choice of level
4) Names of quizzers and their team. Please fill teams so that an absent quizzer will not affect the number of teams in the tournament.
5) Names of helpers (quiz master & scorekeepers), phone numbers, and email addresses
6) Your arrival time if you will not arrive before 6:30pm Friday.
7) Number eating Saturday lunch at the church (Cost $5).

Driving directions:
1. From I-5 in either direction, or from I-205, take the 134th ST. exit.
SPECIAL note for WAPAC teams!!! Coming South on I-5, take I-205 just for a little bit, then you will see the exit for 134th. You will actually feel that you are still on the I-5/I-205 interchange at the point where you see the exit.
2. Drive west on 134th. The road curves a little bit, and changes names to 139th and also to Bliss.
3. On your right you pass a Fred Meyer (with Starbucks) and then see a series of schools. Skyview High School, Alki Middle School, and then Chinook Elementary School.
4. Turn right IMMEDIATELY after Chinook Elementary onto NW 21st AVE. The church is shortly on the left. IF YOU MISS THIS TURN, then you will see the back side of the church on the right as you go by.
